Today's Weed News For October 31st 2018 #WEEDMEGASTORE

For today's weed news we go to the great state of Nevada.

Las Vegas has long been known for its excessively lavish approach to entertainment. And now Sin City is about to be home to one of the largest cannabis dispensaries in the world!

That is because a company called Planet 13 Holdings Inc. just announced that they will be opening the "Planet 13 Superstore" at 2548 W Desert Inn Rd.

"We have already generated a loyal following of Las Vegas customers at our current dispensary location and we are confident that the superstore will be a strong draw for the 55 million visitors from around the world that come to the city each year... With phase one of the project fully-funded, under construction, and on time, we are excited to showcase the unparalleled interactive entertainment and product lines we will have available for guests in the coming months," said Robert Groesbeck, Co-CEO of Planet 13.

The Planet 13 Superstore will be much more than just a dispensary. The plan is to combine cutting-edge technology with state-of-the-art entertainment as well as top shelf cannabis, to offer patrons a complete, muli-sensory experience.

Over a dozen 15-ft-tall LED lotus flowers are being installed on the roof to greet customers as they enter. The flowers, made of metal stems and acrylic leaves, will be interactive and even able to be controlled by visitors entering the store!

A beautiful water feature displaying the Planet 13 name will house the controls to the interactive flowers.

As shoppers enter the building, they will be dazzled by an interactive LED floor that is sensory activated and reacts to guests as they walk through the building!

Giant glowing orbs that have been imported from Germany and installed into the ceilings will add to the futuristic ambiance. And on top of all that, the superstore will also house and interactive laser graffiti system that will even allow people to commemorate their visit by drawing or writing something on the walls.

And if all that wasn't enough, Planet 13 also plans to wow their patrons with a 3D projection visual experience that will constantly project trippy and cannabis-related visual effects onto the walls inside the store!

But let's not forget, that this is also going to be a place where you can actually purchase cannabis. And for that reason, the place will be outfitted with over 45 cash registers to handle the anticipated crowds of tourists and local visitors alike.

To me it sounds like the closest thing to a weed-Disneyland that I've ever heard of!

I currently live about five and a half hours by car away from Las Vegas and after hearing about Planet 13, I'm seriously considering taking a weekend trip up there to check this out, take pictures and then post about it on Smoke.io.

Hopefully I can get some money together and some time off work to make that happen before the end of the year. But either way, it sounds like there is a new cannabis capital emerging out of the shadows, and that place is called Las Vegas.
