BOOK REVIEW

Hello Everyone,
So this is my first time writing something like this basically a book review. I read a lot of books but every time I thought to write a review it leaves me puzzled. But now I literally am gonna share the review of the book I read last week .

I am going to give a review on the book “A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder”. This book is written by Holly Jackson. It is a masterpiece crafted young adult mystery that keeps readers on the edge from the beginning to the end of the book.
Before diving into the story let me introduce you to the main character who is Pippa Fitz- Amobi, an intelligent and determined high school student who decides to investigate a closed murder case which happened years ago for her school project.
THE SUMMARY

Fiver years prior to the event , Andie Bell, a popular high school student was murdered by her boyfriend, Sal Singh, who then supposedly took his own life. The case was considered close for the whole town Fairview where the characters lived considering that her boyfriend killed her making Sal guilty. But our little investigator Pippa doesn’t believe that and decided to dig deeper in this case to dig out who the real killer is .

As Pippa starts her investigation, she uncovers secrets that many in Fairview would prefer to keep buried. With the help of Ravi Singh, Sal’s younger brother who believes in Sal’s innocence, Pippa navigates through a web of lies, threats, and red herrings. The narrative is interspersed with Pippa’s project logs, interview transcripts, and evidence summaries, which add a unique and engaging layer to the storytelling.

Talking about male lead :
Ravi is a well-drawn character who adds a personal dimension to the case. His determination to clear his brother’s name and his loyalty to Pippa provide a strong emotional anchor for the narrative. The secondary characters, including the various townspeople and potential suspects, are well-developed, each with their own secrets and motives, contributing to the story’s rich tapestry.
Theme
In “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder,” various themes are explored such as justice, the dependability of legal systems and how perception can be influential. The book delves into the notion that truth is easily overshadowed by public opinion and unfounded information could lead individuals being wrongly portrayed or cleared from allegations. Additionally, it assesses unresolved trauma effects on communities and families.’

POPULAR OPINION
In my words this book deserves 5 stars rating, for its excellently crafted plot and engaging narrative that will cater to readers of diverse interests while also stimulating their thoughts. This book was rollercoaster ride for me . From suspense to back to square one and then again some happenings. It was a whole new experience.
