Notes
So, I achieved what I set out to do in this training cycle and did a few unassisted one arm chinups. I've also got back to the stage where I can military press half my bodyweight with one hand, if I was doing it with dumbbells I think I would have really smashed that lift too, the stacked Kettlebell press is a fairly difficult technical lift because they want to rip themselves out of your hand and force your arm into external rotation, it's like half lifting and half a balancing act.
I didn't get back to anywhere near the world record for the weighted chinup so I was a bit disappointed there. It looks like Marcus Bondi can keep that record for a while. Maybe I'll have that as a goal for my next training cycle if the stars align and everything is working.
Anyway I realise these blogs are fairly boring, so I won't be bothering with them anymore, I'll probably gravitate back to some of the strength forums as I seem to get a lot more interest there, I feel like I'm talking to myself here. So I succeeded in my goals for this training cycle but failed miserably on steemit at the same time. Turns and roundabouts, I suppose I broke even and learned a bit along the way.
Here's a tribute to Marcus Bondi.
He broke another world record just the other day, well done mate!
SteemIt is still in its early development stage and not that famous. It's actual more of a "geek-thing" and missing many other niechesout. But people will join.
I really like your posts and I would loose another interesting person I follow If you retire from SteemIt.
To get active followers you have to do much networking and that can be annoying, I know that. So at least just c/p your post from other strenghforums here to steemit so I can read them and maybe you will also get some more active followers.
Maybe you will regret it in a few years, so dont give up!
Yeah, I'm pretty much over it mate I've already started powering down.
I'll leave it to you young guys.
