Buying Chipotle With STEEM

I've been using an app called the Cash app for a while now. It's an app that was created by Square and it is surprisingly awesome.
It gives me all sorts of benefits when I buy things.. Like 10% off Chipotle, Whole Foods, etc.
Those benefits are just chump change compared to their latest features which are all Bitcoin related. You can buy, sell and even use BTC with your Cash app and the visa cash card that comes with it.
This has been a great way for me to hodl some BTC and use it as a little walking around money.
What I've really been waiting for from the Cash app is the ability to deposit BTC to my Cash wallet. I've even tweeted the Cash support team to ask when this feature would go live!
Being able to deposit BTC from an external address would allow me to convert my crypto into BTC and then use it at a store.
More specifically, it would let me convert a little bit of STEEM earnings and use it for my everyday expenses as needed. This might sound trivial to some, but to me, this represents a dream for living off of blockchain income.
One day I would love to directly spend my STEEM at a store. Maybe that day will come, or maybe not. Who knows. Either way, I can covnert a little STEEM to BTC and send it to my cash wallet (made even easier using blocktrades) and then use it to buy anything I desire.
So I tried it out today... I converted $10 worth of STEEM into BTC and had it deposited to the Cash App and then I went out and bought myself a chipotle... I also got the added bonus of 10% off ;)
Something about doing this just made me feel good inside. Akin to fulfilling a long-term goal that you can finally achieve. Living off the blockchain may be a reality sooner than later!

Living off of the blockchain would be a dream coming true for me....especially if you consider the amount of time, effort, and some investments I've made during the past 18 months.
Add to that that our economy here, where I live is kinda broken and you'll have the whole picture
Me as well. I can imagine a future where tribes empower all of us to join niche communities and earn enough to make a full time living doing something that we’re passionate about. We’re only getting closer to that with all the great communities like pal that are coming about!

Dang, now I really want Chipotle....It's cool seeing it be used for every day items. I have high hopes that one day UI and system will become easier that everyday people will start using it instead of cash.
Haha chipotle is so fire! I felt amazing buying with crypto — even though the cashier had no idea. It was an actualization of the crypto dream!

Sadly, We don't have chipotle in South Africa. I'd love to try it out sometime! I always hear about the cashapp on Joe Rogans podcast, he plugs it all the time. I'd love to be able to use my crypto to buy stuff, my dream is to buy a beer with steem that's how I feel I know we've made it lol
