How did it go with promoting the Trafalgar/KevinWong proposition?
It’s in the odd position where most people would agree, but nothing gets done lol
I am not sure the perfect system can be made by intensives, but I hope as many experiments will be made so we get as close to something working as possible. I just wrote a post after trying votebuying and it is pretty clear that content creators are pissed off and feel pessimistic about Steemit.
The social media thing is a brilliant idea as a faucet for a crypto coin, but the developers have next to no idea about social interaction so this very important part of Steemit seems to be neglected in a major way.
We just need to close the 4x rewards gap between content-indifferent and content-reflective voting behavior. Many content creators might not be aware of this fact, but I bet many would think it's unfair and unfavorable if the economy stays as it is. By closing the gap, at least we know voters aren't holding back as much as when it's currently at 4x opportunity cost when they see great content. We know we can't reward everyone, but at least the economy needs to be favorable for everyone to try to reward contributions as best as they can. That's the best we can do for a better user experience.
As long as people have just used 1 second on the content I am satisfied. I am not into the moral argument though I do think that a larger middle class of working creators would be the best thing that could happen to Steemit. A community is made up of people after all.
But I would very much like to see this idea tested. The more experiments we can go through the stronger the platform, so it is a bit frustrating that Steemit inc is so cotton armed.
