About my recent outreach effort
Just logging this into the blockchain for my own and whoever's interested to know. This is mainly about the recent platform adoption by The Venus Project:-
Why am I doing this? Mainly to improve STEEM's adoption and building up many diverse and thriving communities. I'm only a volunteer for TVP to the extend of on-boarding them on this platform and kickstart discussions about blockchain tech within their community.
I've also seeded the @thevenusproject account with an amount ~500 STEEM for them to curate and in turn, support the relevant communities, even if not at all related to The Venus Project. This could go from topics on farming, technology, sustainability, society, and such. Personally, I think this is a great use case for all kinds of organisations and social movements.
Registering @thevenusproject back in December 2016, I've now handed on the keys to their group of volunteers. The group will progressively notify its volunteers and supporters to try out this platform and build their communities over time.
I've also notified TVP to consider the many implications of blockchain technology and what it could mean for the project. In that sense, a founder's AMA would be nice and I hope it happens. Other than that, I've also advised TVP to keep Steem Power in order to build up curation influence to be able to support more of what they believe in as this network grows.
Please hit me up if you've any good ideas for reaching out and could use the little help that I can provide - which is personalised letter writing lol. I also don't mind walking in to meet up with people if they happen to be nearby wherever I am. But to be honest, conversion rates from my attempts have been on the low side. In any case, I'll continue doing whatever I can and I'm interested in getting visionaries to adopt this platform to start engaging and supporting their communities of choice.
Next up would be a number of musicians, science communicators, and product innovators in which I've been chit-chatting with and playing around with the idea of communities. I'm only doing this on my free time so I'm not going to promise anything here lol.. and anyway, still waiting for more social features on Steemit so its stickiness factor wouldn't waste any "successful" conversions.

Great job for the venus project. This is really something interesting that I discovered actually only yesterday.
It is interesting, although a very difficult thing to pull off, even for an experimental city :)

Blockchain tech is almost a necessary requirement as the backbone of so many things to come, being basically a public ledger..!

Is this VIVA for start ups? Not too sure.. in any case I'll find time after 7th April , super packed these days! Not so much about changing the world, I think it's more about presenting people with stuff, and if they think it's for the better - good :)

It's barely even communism. There are only people with ideas to make things better in their own ways, despite perceived ideologies. And in no way the project is forcing everyone to be part of it.
