My dad came by to visit today

and he teared up while I was eating at home. He said he wished he could be around more often because he misses me and my sister. Of course, i could empathize with his sadness; i also appreciated his authenticity with me. I do not often see my dad. I only recently started talking to him in the last 6 years of my life; I never had the idea that he loved me and my sister years ago. He is often busy, and does not live nearby.

A few weeks ago, I told him that my favorite moments in life involve me eating a bowl of pho with him. Time is always more precious when it is spent with someone who I rarely often see! He often reminds me of the importance of family. His life stories shared with me are valuable; I know he only wants to share truths with me to help me become a better person for myself and towards society.

Even my trip to Vietnam a few weeks ago was to understand his life and his family.

Of course, I will never understand what it feels like to be in a devastating war. Often, talks about the war and the fighting.

At times, I wish something like Tom Riddle's diary existed. His experiences are my life lessons as well.

I knocked out at 6 P.M yesterday

after doing some uber. Benadryl, my allergy medication, is a real sleeper :O.

I may fall asleep early today as well.
