Relaxed and refreshed

Got the chance to hang out with my friend, Jay, today. He is Chinese and made a good bet on NEO a few months ago. We smoked a lot of cigarettes today, but we discussed about quitting all types of consumption like this soon.

I feel like my mind is in the right place to start getting into my regular routine. I had a decent swim at the gym today. I need to lose some weight in my belly area. Tomorrow I will clean my house and get back into schoolwork.

On Xiamen, China

I had a pleasant 10 hour layover with a new friend I met, Hieu. He is from Hue, my mother's hometown. We explored Xiamen together and ate loads of food. I had some nice conversations with him about Hue.

The scene looks somewhat similar to Vietnam. The streets were less crowded but had many towering high-rise apartments. This can be seen for miles.

The bus ride downtown was quiet. This is contrasting to Vietnam's loud and bustling lifestyle.

Beer in China was not good, or at least the variety that I had.

We had some difficulty acquiring Yuan back to get a ride to the airport. Luckily, one Chinese man accepted a 10$ and all of our spare yuan. He overcharged us. . . We got what he needed.

Hieu left his Chinese cigarettes in my backpack, he should get them eventually. He's from Riverside.

Hieu @ his usual smoke. He smokes as much as Jay.

P.S I'm not sure what to make of the new Steem layout. I read posts about it, but this is new to me. Hoped it would provide new functionality as well, but it was all cosmetic. Anyways, just as eager to use eos on its platform release.
