Psalms 23:1-3 [Words of Encouragement] The LORD Is My Shepherd; I Shall Not Want..."
"The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me besides still waters.
He restores my soul." Psalms 23:1-3
True words indeed. Our dear heavenly father is our Shepherd. Just as the Shepherd cares tenderly for his sheeps, he cares for us, providing all our needs on a daily basis such that we " shall not want" or lack nothing at all. He makes me to experience abundant peace as if I am besides some still waters.
He provides green spiritual pastures for us to feed daily through his words - the Bible. Yes, with all these spiritual nourishment, he restores our soul or makes us to experience spiritual rejuvenation, as it were.
So the next time you are agitated or troubled because of seeming lack of material things, remember that God is your Shepherd.
Another great post. Keep up the good work!
