Corona Virus Lockdown And Keeping Spirits High With The Splinterlands Game – Day 41
The photo above and below are pictures I took at the entrance of a bank and what I can say about it is good luck to social distancing. Lol. This isn’t really a laughing matter because it is a serious situation as people are putting themselves in high risk of contacting the corona virus without knowing it. Or should say they know but the need to collect their money so that they can use it to solve the various problems that have arisen because of the situation we find ourselves in the world today is making them not to care anymore.
The State and Federal government had issued a lot of guidelines for the partial lifting of the lockdown that lasted for more than six weeks and some of these guidelines are somehow still restrictive and forces people to come together in a particular day, which usually cause the rush sometimes. Physical banking hours was shortened the days different types of markets are opened vary, for instance food stuff opens for some markets on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays while other types of market like electronics and the likes open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Pharmaceuticals and other essential businesses are always up though.
For this reason when businesses are open on a certain day you see the mad rush to get stuff people need. It is kinda complex but we are getting used to it somehow. One thing I must say though is that the number of people putting on face mask has increased drastically, this is partly due to the fact that motorist will only agree to pick you as a passenger if you have your nose mask on, this is a big plus for the transport union as they are indeed helping the government to implement the law. Though this is not totally because they want to do that but if they don’t the law enforcement guys normally stop and detain their vehicle, so it is kind of compulsory for them to ask their passengers to put on face mask.
I got the special type of daily quest which wants you to win three battles without using neutral monsters but I was in no mood for that so I changed it and got the Water splinter for the second day. It was a tough day at the battle field, I even got knocked off the Champion II league but had to fight my way back using other splinters to finally recover and also complete my daily quest.
Rewards day 190
It was a good day today at the rewards department I must say, I got one Legendary card, one Rare cards, some Common cards, some Legendary and some Alchemy potions and a bunch of DECs. Another good pull was a DEC opening that was worth 1650 DECs. Great! Lol.
