Here is my actifit report detailing my activities for today.

Road Maintenance People Not Doing There Work

I went for an early morning walk today because I needed that early morning fresh air that is so unpolluted with some of that feeling of light water in the atmosphere that you feel on your face as you work. I notice that the road maintenance people haven’t been clearing the path through which rain water that falls on the main roads flows into the gutters. That needs reporting to see if something will be done about it.

I came back after hitting 4k step counts and rushed to take a shower and head on to the office. No biggy at the office as everything went smoothly today. I did close earlier than I normally close though because I needed to buy some rabbit feeds before the closed for shop for the day. I had to pack on the other side of the of the road and cross over to buy the feeds because I didn’t want to have to enter the traffic jam as I don’t know when one will get out of it if you enter it. But I must say the sun was very intense as you can see me (my shadow that is) resting under a tree before crossing the road.

I even saw a Gokada rider and his passenger passing by as I was waiting. Gokada is a fancy name for motorbike riders we call locally as Okada riders. They use their motor bike as a means of transporting people from one location to another. The Gokada guys are more professional though, they have app for which you can download from your phone and use it to order for a ride just like the Uber guys.

I went for a walk in the even to hit the 10k mark, I also feed the rabbits and checked on the kits. All clear for all of them.

I first heard the song “He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother” by The Hollies in 1996 after the death of my Dad in a plane crash. I remember the emotional burden and pain we had to go through, the pain and all that, but we stuck together 6 kids and our mom, we helped one another to get going and be who they are today. When things look bleak, that is a good time to stick together and move on for there is always light at the end of the tunnel and you can’t see it if you quit half way. Don’t give up on Steem because of the price you see today, if you know the true value of it then you’ll stick around for the future we all want. The song is a song of encouragement and I hope it does encourage you. Goodnight people.
