A Life Without God?

in #christianity7 years ago

When I die put my ashes in the trashcan because I don't care where they go. Save your money and forget a casket. Because I'm only worried where my soul goes.

Life is warped and full of complexities. Everybody wants change but nobody wants to change. Nobody wants to pray until they have something to pray for. One day everyone will die but it is not everyone who departs that actually lived. They look back and blame God. Because it's easy to blame someone who cannot retaliate immediately. They say God's really invaluable because where was he when they suffered. They look in the sky and ask why isn't he answering. They twitch their ears and snort at the news on the TV screens and talk about how God's really a fraud or—what is he.

You see the same God that you say might not even exist is the same God that becomes real to us when we are on our death beds. When you're healthy you don't care for him it's like you're telling him: leave me alone God, I'll call you when I need you again. Which is sometimes funny when people sleep in the pews and blame God like he was the one sleeping on you. You have turned your backs on him—what do you expect him to do. It's hard to answer prayers when nobody is praying to you.

If life is a system, as you claim, that is built on an explosion. A life and a world without the divine rulership of a supreme being—then what is our purpose? What are you supposed to be doing. What more is to life then than just living and living without actually knowing what you're living for?

What then are we doing down here?

A life without God, I want nothing of it.
