Animal : Elephents

In step with one another, an elephant family led by a matriarch on the left and two young females on the right shelter their young as they travel. Bonds between female elephants are strong and extend across time. Poaching for ivory does not just kill individual adults, but it destroys families and wipes out important clan memories about food resources and travel routes that need to be passed on to the next generation.
