Focus on your JOB.

Hello my Fellow Steemians!
My topic for the day is all about.

DON'T OVER THINK THINGS AND LOSE FOCUS ON WHAT'S IMPORTANT.

I love writing posts. I love to teach. Steemit and all my fellow Steemians has provided me a platform to accomplish both of these things.

I appreciate people reading my posts. I appreciate the comments. Thank you because I learn from these comments as much as some of you learn from me.

But I have noticed something that I realize happens in sales. We over think things or focus on what is not the intention.

I write a post describing making calls is like scratching lottery tickets. The more you call, the more winners you get. But people get caught up in the odds of scratch tickets instead.

A post about twin sisters & the difference between wants & needs. Than some it turn the post into identical twins.

In sales, don't over think. Don't manufacture things that isn't the real focus. Sales is the hardest "easy" job you can have. Don't make it harder.

Learn to listen. Learn to understand. Focus on what is being said instead of what you think is being said. Yes, you need to read into what the customer is saying, but don't read into what you think the customers think they mean or look for hidden agendas that are not there. Keep it simple. When in doubt, ask questions & don't assume on your own.
