Discover Your Body - Art Contest - #4 Thighs - Tattooed Thighs

Tattooed Thighs

Hello Hello! Artists and the entire Steemit community.
On this occasion I want to present my entry to the "Discovery your Body" contest hosted by @yoganarchista, which I greatly appreciate for your contest. I also want to expose this post a bit. This contest tries to draw weekly body parts, starting from the feet to the head, this week is the turn of the "Thighs" and this is the work I did:

For this work I would like to make tattooed legs as the title indicates, since I am a tattoo artist and illustrator and to put both together is the best thing to do!
In my first week I did a similar job, which you can observe in this post:

I really like the concept of drawing each part of the body and more if I can make it tattooed, I think that the feet, legs and other parts of the body are great tattooed, I really love it!

As I did?

Mainly with the ready sketch I began to illustrate from above, the most important part of this work leaves it last, so I started with the hands giving shadows and highlighting the volume of them.!

Start the best part and is to illustrate the tattoo, first pronounce the darkest parts to highlight and leave those parts ready, shading the thigh a bit, not so much to not give it so much darkness and depth, so you can look better tattoo.
I think the flowers of this tattoo look splendid in a white skin tone and that's why I did not give it much darkness.

Finally a little volume and shape to the calf crossed. The tattoo has shadows so I made them just like the ones on the leg so that it does not look overexposed. That is part of the thigh, and achieve that in an illustration is difficult, it's like making a drawing on top of another drawing :)

And so the work is. These flowers look beautiful to me and I really liked how these illustrations look, I think I will continue this series like this ... Tattooed body parts!

The tools I used for this job were:

  • Mechanical pencil with 2mm 2B and 4B mines
  • A4 Sheet of paper
  • Eraser
  • Brush.

Thank you very much for visiting my post, I hope you like it and thanks again to @yoganarchista for your contest. I really like it a lot.

Any suggestions will be welcome in the comments. Until next time!

Wow! Mano esto esta hermoso! <3
Excelente trabajo!

Hahaha muchas gracias me has aliviado un montón!
PD. Espero estés mejor de tu gripe :)

Hello @zoniaespina gracias! Gracias zonia!

I just discovered your blog, and I think you're really talented. I love how you've interpreted this competition. I think focusing on her upper outer thigh so you can highlight your skills as a tattoo artist is really cool. The seated, cross-legged pose looks very natural.

I love her tattoo as well by the way, it's really pretty.

hello @choogirl, thanks for taking the time in detail as I did the illustration, also thanks for your vote !. Good thing you like it, the idea of my work is that, that people like it and enjoy what I do. also thanks for discovering me hahaha I am not very popular here, but I hope to be one day! thank you very much for your feedback
