I Got Married And My Twin Got Engaged, What An Ending To 2021
Good day everyone!!! My last article was published way back as July 4th, 2021(that's about 7 months ago). Woah!!! That's some long time ago, but I'm back and ready to start writing and engaging with quality authors here. I will like to explain the reason for my absence for this long.
Yeah, that's my and my lovely beautiful wife. But let's go back to before my marriage. In the month of July, my grandma died. It was a very tragic moment for me and my twin(@taiwo-writes), because she raised us when we were kids and she's has been very dear to us. We had to start preparing for her burial, and had to travel to our village which had poor electricity and network connections. We were cut off from the world for almost 2 months, because after the burial we stayed behind, as it has been a long while since we went to the village.
Staying off the internet socialization for over 2 months, it is quite hard to restart writing again. And later in the year, to be more precise, 14th December, 2021, I married my better half.
I have known her for the past 17 years but it's been 11 years we have been in a good and healthy relationship. We have been through it all together, we have fought and won all the battles together, we have faced and overcame all challenges together. We have tackled every obstacles encountered together and we never break and we would never give up on each other. She's my better half.
My twin brother had his introduction the following day, which was 15th December, 2021, since his future wife is from the same village as my wife, we used that opportunity to do the introduction. Some of you, might not understand the African tradition. In the African tradition, the groom to be, will his family to the bride family, in other to ask for her hand in marriage. If the bride family, that's when date for the Traditional wedding and White wedding will be set.
It was a busy 2021 ending and a good one. Now, I'm back to normalcy and ready to continue from where I stopped. It's amazing to start writing again.
