You probably thinking that you have heard the story a thousand time, its nothing new. Well what if i told you the Snow White you thinking of is not the real tale as was told by the Grimm Brothers. That's right, we're back here again where i told you the difference between Disney's famous animation and the real tale written by the Grimm Brothers.

The real story of Snow White is a German fairy tale publish by the Grimm Brothers, Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm in their book Grimms Fairy Tales back in 1812 and after a bunch of revision, the final version of the story was release in 1854.

Let me refresh you with the Disney's version of Snow White, Disney release their first ever animation movie in 1937 called Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The story started with a queen gave birth to a baby girl and named here Snow White and die soon after that, living his husband the king and his new born girl behind.

The king then remarried to a proud arrogant beautiful woman who then tries to kill Snow off because she is getting jealous of her beauty. Snow manage to run off into the forest and live peacefully with the seven dwarfs.

The evil queen found out about this and disguise her self as an old woman and tricked Snow into eating a poison apple. Snow dies and the seven dwarfs chased the evil queen up to the mountain where she then fell to her death after a lightning struck the edge of the cliff where she is on.

After the seven dwarfs place and lay Snow into a glass coffin, a prince soon arrive and gave Snow a kiss on the lips. She then risen from her dead and live happily ever after with the prince.

Nice story, no ? Well Disney had done a good job alternating the story to suit younger audience, so let us now turn the page to a more darker version of the story by the Grimms. ^{:insert evil laugh here:}

I think Disney forgot to tell us the age of the main character in this story where the Grimss mention it quite clearly at the start of their tale, she was 7 years old. Thats right ladies and gentleman, Snow is 7 years old when all this story unfold, keep this in mind people cause this will be important for the finale.

So after the magic mirror told the evil queen that a seven year old child is more beautiful than her, she then ordered a Huntsman to kill Snow in the forest and bring her the heart and lungs of Snow so she could consume it. Instead of doing so, the Huntsman spare Snow life after she begged for her life, and killed a boar instead and serve it's heart and lungs to the queen to feast.

As in the Disney's version, Snow then live together with the dwarfs after agreeing to clean their house, cook, wash, sew for them. The evil queen who thought that Snow White is no longer living needed another ego boost so she went to the mirror again to ask the infamous question who is the fairest of them all, only to be shock by the answer she never thought to be.

You, my queen, are fair; it is true.
But Snow-White, beyond the mountains
With the seven dwarfs,
Is still a thousand times fairer than you.

In the Grimms version, the evil queen dint immediately brew a poison apple to kill Snow, instead she first disguise her self as an old peddler woman and tricked Snow into trying a body lace she was selling, probably those sort of medieval corset like in the Game of Thrones series. After volunteering to help Snow with the corset, she then pulls the lace so hard and tight that Snow passed out from suffocation. Not long after, the dwarfs return home after mining in the mountain and found Snow lying down on the floor in a dead like state, the dwarfs then untied the lace and Snow manage to regain her breath and survive. Thats murder attempt number 1.

The evil queen went and asked the magic mirror the infamous question again, only to be replied back with the same answer. Furious, with her witchcraft she then brew and made a poisonous comb and head back to Snow the next day, disguising her self as a different old woman. Snow falling for the same trick twice, pass out again from brushing her hair with the poisonous comb, the dwarfs then rescued Snow again by removing the comb from her hair. Thats murder attempt number 2.

After learning that Snow still live, the evil witch then brewed the famous poison apple and head back again to kill Snow. Surely, Snow... Surely you wont fall for the same trick for the third time right?

...

Yes she does. So.. at the third attempt, the evil queen finally succeed in killing off Snow White. The seven dwarfs could only weep when they found Snow's body lay there breathless, they mourn and cried for 3 days straight and decide to lay her into a glass transparent coffin outside on a mountain.

^{The revival}

The Grimms dint mention how long Snow lay dead, but a prince then saw Snow in the coffin and fall in love with her beauty. After persuading the dwarfs, they finally agree and allow the prince to bring her corpse and the coffin back to his kingdom. When the prince's man was lifting up the coffin on their shoulder, one of them stumble and thus resulted to piece of the poison apple to dislodged from Snow's throat, she then magically regain her life back and married the prince.

End of story..? No.. The wedding is grand and majestic, they even invited the evil queen to attend the wedding. Before the evil queen went to the wedding, she ask the mirror one last time.

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
Who in this land is fairest of all.

Only to be answered back what she knew was coming.

You, my queen, are fair; it is true.
But the young queen is a thousand times fairer than you.

With fear and agony in her heart, she went and attend the wedding. Upon arriving, she was then forced to wear an iron shoes that had been heated in the burning coal and danced to her death.

Now that was an interesting story, right guys? The princess married the prince, the evil witch died, your typical happy ending for a story. But wait, did any of you guys still remember at the start of the story when i said keep that in mind cause it will be something important? For those who forgot, let me remind you. Snow White is a 7 years old little girl, yeeep. So what does that mean? It means that the prince just married to an underage 7 years old girl, a pedophile. What a nice happy ending.
