The truth about Disney's Tangled
TANGLED

The original tales comes from Germany in 1812 by the Grimm Brothers, Wilhelm & Jacob Grimm about a girl name Rapunzel (meaning Purple Flower in Germany). The beginning of the story is really similar, but the person who come and save her was actually a prince where in the Disney animation he was portrayed by the arrogant, trouble maker thief, Eugene Fitzherbert.
One day while the prince rides through the forest, he was seduced by Rapunzel voice and wanted to meet her, when he found the tower where Rapunzel was held, he tried to look for a way in but couldn't since the tower only have 1 small window at the top without doors and steps. He later found out about Dame Gothel method to gain access to the tower and used it to trick Rapunzel to let down her golden hair.
At first Rapunzel was very frightened and scared as she sees a man she never meet before entered and approach her but quickly fell in love with him because of how nice he was, they both then get engaged at the very same night. She then asked him to bring a strand of silk every time he were to come and visit her so that she can weave a ladder to escape the tower and from Dame Gothel.
The plan was foiled when Rapunzel accidentally told Dame Gothel that her dress was getting tighter, indicating that she was already pregnant with the prince's child, in the second edition of Grimm's Fairy Tales however wrote that Rapunzel in a moment of forgetfulness asked Dame Gothel why is it harder to pull her up than the prince who will be arriving any moment now. In anger, Dame Gothel cut off Rapunzel golden hair and threw her into the wilderness where she suffered greatly.
Later that night, the prince came and visit and climb the severed hair only to be greeted by the evil Dame Gothel. The prince overcome with grief after hearing that he will never meet Rapunzel again, jumped off the tower and blinded both his eye when he fell into a barb of thorn. He then wandered the wasteland, hoping to find Rapunzel again.
Years after, he eventually comes to the forest where Rapunzel have lived miserably with the twins she gave birth to, a boy and a girl. As the prince wandered the forest, he then heard a familiar singing voice that he miss so much and decide to follow it. Rapunzel who recognized the prince quickly embrace him and cried, 2 of her tears fell into the prince eye and restore his eyesight. The prince then lead his wife and his 2 children into the kingdom and they all live happily ever after.
Now imagine if Disney portray the tale exactly as the Grimm Brothers version, no doubt it will not bode well with the parents. In another version of the story, it was told that when Dame Gothel was pulling the prince up with Rapunzel's golden hair, the hair accidentally slip from her hand and landed down below the tower, without any stairs or other method, Dame Gothel meet her demise as she got stuck in the tower.
Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair,
so that I may climb thy golden stair.

Good effort @kennethtks, maybe someone in the future will make a movie out of the original Grimm Brother's stories, a dark one with a twist here and there.
bro maybe you want to try referencing in this manner
[source](url of the image) that way you wont get into trouble with @cheetah and other bots for not citing your source. what you did to state that it is all obtained from google image isn't giving credit to the source but stating where you obtain it.
aa i see.. yea cause i seen some other post doing just like i did and just link it to google image so i thought it is acceptable to do it.. from now on i will link it directly to the source, don't wanna get in to trouble with cheetah.. thanks for telling me :)
