Cheating Death 7 Times..!!

Whats more unlucky than having you car burst into flames? Having it happen twice. Today we are going to talk about bad luck, i'm just going to say it right off the bat, i wish you guys, my dear readers the best of luck in your life today, tomorrow and for the rest of your life.

Typically when one speaks a bout bad luck, you start to think about getting a flat tire on your way to your destination or stepping on dogs' poop when walking through the park. Well i have a story about the world most unluckiest man or maybe luckiest, depends on how you see it, some interesting things had happen to him that you're thankful that you're not him.

Who is him? Well its this guy, Frane Selak an 88 years old music teacher from Crotia. He basically living in a "Final Destination" movie. In 1962 he was traveling by train from Sarajevo to Dubrovnik when the train suddenly derailed and fell into an icy river, pretty unlucky, 17 people drown but not Frane. He manage to swim to safety, and he only ends up with a broken arm, so that's kinda lucky and unlucky at the same time.

Next year 1963, trying not to be outdone, he decide he's gonna take his first airplane flight. This would turns out to be his last air flight. So the plane starts going down in the middle of the flight and the door flies open and suck him out. This is just like a movie, this only happen in movie where you got suck out of the plane. Guess what happen next? He landed in a haystack and survive. What? Frane? Are you for real? Everyone else on board, all 19 people, did not landed on a haystack, they stayed on the airplane and died.

In 1966, that's a few years later, he's in a bus. He was like :

I'm not going in the plane anymore, I go in a plane with no wings, the bus!

Well even with the bus he still cant avoid the icy river, because it skid off the road into an icy river... again Frane? Really? He swim to the shore mostly unharmed and 4 people died. 1970, he's like :

I dont ride the bus now, now I drive own car.

his car then spontaneously burst into flames, because his fuel tank explodes. He narrowly escaped dead.

I will keep the car, I had to get around somehow.

1973, car fire again. This time the faulty fuel pump causes flames to shoot out of the air vents. This is like a blowtorch, imagine turning on your a/c and it shoot out fire instead. Singes most of his hair off. After that there's a quiet period for 22 years, 22 years later in 1995 :

I only walk, i dont like transportation, i walk everywhere i go.

He gets run over by a bus. Can you guys believe this guy? So he got run over by a bus, he walks away with just cuts and bruises, he did not get knocked over into and icy river thou. Then in 1996, the next year :

I'll drive again, why not? i need to get over through this mountains.

He is driving again through the mountains, and he run head first towards a giant truck. He swerve to avoid it sending the car off of a 300 foot cliff (90 meters). Now surely... surely.. this is it.. Frane is going to die, what can you do Frane?!

Well, i jump out of the car into a tree.

So this guy jump out of his falling car like Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible, lands in the tree, and hang on to it until rescuers shows up. Then at the age of 76, everything takes a turn in a new direction. Maybe he thinks to himself after escaping all this deaths, he might just be the luckiest guy on the earth, and he prove just that. He goes and buy a lottery ticket and won 1 MILLION DOLLARS. He went ahead giving away most of his money to family and friends and ends up finding love with his most recent wife, his fifth wife. I guess the the 4 is a disaster too. Then he got featured in Doritos's commercial, recounting his and all things happen at the past.

Frane now lives a modest life in Petrinja with his fifth wife. Undergoes a hip surgery with what left of his lottery prize money so he can live a happy life with his wife, and he also built a shrine for Mother Marry to show thanks and gratitude for protecting and saving his life countless times.

Here's a timeline to show you how he escaped deaths :

• 1962 - Train derailed and fell into icy river, 17 people died. Frane survives.
• 1963 - Airplane crash, 19 people died, Frane got sucked out of the plane and landed in a haystack. Frane survives.
• 1966 - Bus skid of the road into an icy river, 4 people died. Frane survives.
• 1970 - Car fuel tank explodes. Frane survives.
• 1973 - Faulty fuel pump cause fire to blow out from air vent, minor burns. Frane survives.
• 1995 - Run over by a bus, some cuts and bruises. Frane survives.
• 1996 - Car fall over a 300-foot cliff, jump of the car and hang on a tree. Frane Survives.
• 2003 - Won the lottery jackpot.
