Like the soft keys of a piano
Slowly imprinting messages into my mind;
I stared at the mirror
Watching my demons roar
Leaving me terrified of my reflection
Staggering back with full attention
Terror filled with laughter roamed the air
Putting a halt to the moment
As years rolled down my cheeks
"Why am I not loved" I whispered,
As images of hell came closer
I knew my time was almost up
The poison is taking it's toll
Soliloquy is my only option
As I'm slumped on the ground
Watching my tears flow beside my blood
My feelings finally met reality
I've got nothing at the end of this path
My eye lids began to shut
The world is now darker
My eyesight blurry
My time has finally come
The inevitable moment
I embrace it with my heart filled with joy
Finally the pains have come to an end
The moment of peace and tranquility
As my eyes opened
And I noticed it was all a dream...
