Food for thought

I want significant relationships, I want friends that believe in me, even if they are idiots.
There's no great project that has been accomplished without the company of some good fellows, Bill Gates started off with his friend, Mark created Facebook with his friends and college roommates, even Linda Ikeji had her sister in her company when she began.
What are you doing with the people you call friends?
Everybody wants to win and grow big, accomplish life goals and live a dream, we can make all of these happen but if you think supporting your friends or a relation would hinder your progression, then you suck, yes you suck with that mindset.
Been in this insignificant friendships for far too long, no shoulder to bend your head on when the push comes to shove, and friends show up only when the going gets good.
We tend to miss out on the simple act of support for our very own, but we demonstrate an unmatched level of madness supporting people who are far from our life.
It's no hidden fact that most of us are out there supporting and promoting some folks who are locked up in one apartment in some reality TV show somewhere in South Africa. You don't know them, they don't know you, so how did it happen? How did they win your love and attention? Am I wrong to ask if you are not under a spell?
The energy and time I have seen some of us put into things like this, is mind blowing. We spend money to vote and campaign for them, we spend our time everyday trying to promote them, I know you are having fun and i may be sounding too tedious for your liking, yet sadly we haven't put half of that resources into supporting one of our own, our friends.
I'm not here asking for money or help from anyone (I may need it later though ) but I came here with a message. SUPPORT YOUR FRIENDS. It doesn't have to be money, support can come in quite a few ways, you can help your friend with ideas and tips on how he can grow his business, you can still just encourage him with your words, it goes a long way into motivating them.
You have a friend who seems to be lost in life, foaming into confusion and frustration, you have to come through for them and help them get out of that mess. They may not appreciate you enough in the end but It'd be more rewarding than doing it for those celebs that doesn't know you.
Show your friends that you believe in them, which is technically the highest form of support you could give, it raises their spirit, and they get that muse feeling, knowing that they are doing something right.
Promote them, if it requires your financial support, give them the much you can or assist them. If they are growing and winning, you are winning as well. There's no pleasure in watching your friends suffer and beg you for money.
Be a good fellow. A jolly good fellow.
