Attending Steemit Sharing Session for Second Time - and I still LOVE it!

Today is 7th March. I had attended sharing session for the second time which conducted by Dr Foong (@digitalmind) and honours to invite Aaron (@aaronleang) as a special guest!

After attending the first sharing session about Steemit by @digitalmind on last Saturday, and due to very positive response from my course mate he decided to organize another second sharing session on today. My Steemit account is not approved yet during the first time sharing, therefore I decide to apply leave since its weekday for joining the second round so that I can learn more.

Things did not go smoothly, as it is heavy raining around 930am morning at Kepong- Jalan Kuching area, as you aware, traffic will become heavy in KL if raining.

The sharing venue is Wisma Naza which is nearby the Pudu LRT station. It is so lucky that there was drizzle rain after PWTC, the traffic also very smooth after this and I manage to reach slightly late for three minutes. The class is started at 10 am.

Here are some notes on what Dr. Foong are sharing:
a) What is Steemit? He, in fact, guide us where is the FAQ and learn it’s by ourselves which I think it is effective for learning new things.
b) How Steemit work on Blockchain platform so the blog cannot be edit after 7 days and the password cannot be retrieved.
c) Advice do not put our privacy photos on the blog
d) How to install Discord and the rules to join in the channel
e) Using my and his page as a case study on wallet section such as Voting Power, Steem Power, Steem Dollar and etc
f) How to use popular and related tags
g) Basic on writing and uploading images on Markdown
h) Recommend us to join the boot camp on 24 or 25 March

Dr. Foong shares to us

After that, it is the turn for our special guest Aaron who providing some of the more in-depth tips on Steemit. It’s value shared by Aaron, especially using our mobile phone as a tool to capture nice photos and based on this to write an article.

The class is overrun more than 20 minutes.

We have further discussion on Steemit during the lunch session and Dr Foong providing some tips on how to start writing an article. However, we all forget the tips given by Aaron without taking any photos of our food. We all very enthusiasm on this and continue discuss even finish lunch. I personally thanks, @tanlikming buy me for white coffee. We finally adjourned due to heavy rain is coming, if not it might end up to dinner time.
