SteemChurch: be persistent
In this time in which things change so much and in all areas of humanity, it is difficult to maintain what we have begun, and that is why it is important to speak of perseverance in the life of the Christian; the preacher says "the end of the business is better than its beginning" Ecclesiastes 7: 5, and the reason why Solomon said this is because perseverance is found between the beginning and the end, and without it, although it started well , it will not have a good ending.
The Greek word that means perseverance is in Mark 3: 9 and talks about the boat that the disciples prepared him to get away from the crowd, the boat was well linked to the stake on the shore of the sea so that although strong waves would always stay firm.
And the connection with the Lord is that perseverance on the path whose end is eternal life with Christ, manifested in the prayer that oxygenates our spiritual life, because without communication with God the relationship dies; remember that in the upper room the disciples persevered unanimously in prayer and were filled with the Holy Spirit, Acts 1:14.
It is necessary to persevere in the Word because James says that we will be blessed in what we do, (James 1:25)
The most important thing is to persevere in the grace we have received through Jesus Christ by having forgiven our sins, and to keep us in it, and this is achieved by recognizing and adhering firmly in obedience and dependence in all areas of our life to Jesus Christ, John 15 :5.
** the Word of God in Galatians 6: 1-10**
"Brethren, if anyone be caught in any fault, you who are spiritual, restore him with a spirit of meekness, considering yourself, lest you also be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ. Because he who believes himself to be something, being nothing, he deceives himself. So, each one tests his own work, and then he will have reason to boast only about himself, and not in another; because each one will carry his own load. He who is taught in the word, share in everything good that instructs him. Do not be deceived; God can not be mocked: for whatever a man sows, that will also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Let us not get tired, then, of doing good; because in time we will reap, if we do not lose heart. So, as we have opportunity, let's do good to everyone, and especially to those of the family of faith. "
To grow in any area of life you need to persevere and not faint during the process, that is why we must be prepared to face the trials and achieve progress without fainting; when it is sown it is harvested.

But if we do not faint in the process, so we should not tire of doing good and persevere in what we want to achieve.
Some say that a business did not work when it took three or four months, the issue is, how can you evaluate whether a business works or not in such a short time, it would be like saying that a baby has motor problems because at three or four months still does not walk knowing that he needs more time to do it.
The man must persevere faithfully in what the Lord asks him day after day with all his strength and although it seems that nothing moves and without feeling that he has failed, because many times when the Lord asks you to push a rock is not for the purpose of Let it move but to teach us to dominate our body, to strengthen our soul through discipline, to know your strength and your limits.
With perseverance one learns to overcome the temptation that tells us that what we do is useless while we strengthen our faith even knowing that our enemies are strong.
Thanks to your perseverance you develop a great spiritual and physical strength to overcome the spiritual enemy, but also your enemies of the earth; Your mission is to be obedient and work so that God's purpose in your life is fulfilled.
Perseverance is the key to seeing fruits where many stay in the attempt.
Some come to the middle of the road while others go through any obstacle because they do not surprise them when they arrive, but they have learned to turn each stumbling block into rungs of the ladder that allows them to grow faith:
"We had in ourselves a sentence of death, so that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead" 2 Corinthians 1: 9
"But you are the ones who have stayed with me in my trials" Luke 22:28,
"With your patience you will win your souls" Luke 21:19.
Persevere is to continue believing in the Word of God even when everything seems to be wrong, is to rise after a fall decisively walk towards the goal with confidence in God and holding strong the arm of the Lord against everything because you have the certainty of that God will walk with you.
The one who perseveres is because he has believed in the power of God and abides by his faith, not because of what he feels, because they know that God continues working and remains faithful to reward us for perseverance, because:
"He who looks attentively in the perfect law, that of freedom, and perseveres in it, not being a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, he will be blessed in what he does" James 1:25.
Many times we do not even understand what the Lord wants to teach us in the different situations of our life, but we simply complain and feel victimized, but we do not approach Him to show us what He wants to teach us; or many times our ego is so strong that we can not hear the response of God that we cover with our complaints.
As Christians we must learn that behind every situation there is a process that strengthens us, and that only by being persevering can we reach the promises, therefore, anyone who wants to reach the goal and fulfill the will of God must be persistent, because where all we see problems and difficulties the Lord sees a process of growth.
It is time to realize that we are living a privileged situation, no matter the scarcity, no matter the family problem, we continue to be in a privileged position in Christ.
It is time to learn what the Lord wants to teach us with the situations we are going through, keep in mind that those who are most willing to learn what the Lord teaches them, the quicker they are ready for what they have undertaken, "more First the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. So, do not worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will bring your eagerness "Matthew 6: 33-34" so that you do not become lazy, but imitators of those who by faith and patience inherit the promises "Hebrews 6:12.
Let us learn in the tribulation to follow the logic of our petition, learn to ask in prayer if we are asking correctly, because if we have the right attitude, given the burden to the Lord, let us learn that the most important thing is to trust God and wait for the answer .
There God will tell us the way and showing us what we should correct, then ..., "persevere in prayer, watching over it with thanksgiving" Colossians 4: 2, and "in what requires diligence, not lazy; fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; joyful in hope; suffered in the tribulation; constants in the prayer "Romans 12: 11-12; "Take care of these things; remain in them, so that your use is manifest to all. Take care of yourself and the doctrine; persist in it, for by doing this, you will save yourself and those who hear you "1 Timothy 4: 15-16.
God asks us for trust and perseverance, he has taught us his way, he obeys and he perseveres; although everything seems to go wrong, obey him and persevere! although it seems that what you do has no meaning, obey and persevere! you are exhausted, obey and persevere! Even if people do not understand your fidelity to God, obey Him and persevere!
"Therefore, we do not lose heart; before, although this our outer man is wearing out, the interior nevertheless is renewed from day to day. Because this slight momentary tribulation produces in us an increasingly excellent and eternal weight of glory; not looking at us the things that are seen, but those that are not seen; for the things that are seen are temporary, but the things that are not seen are eternal "2 Corinthians 4: 16-18.
Thanks for this great content.
It is those that are never given up that tell story after their victory. The more we we look back and see God,the more we are empowered to carry on.
We just don't have to give up in every aspects of our lives but keep persevere

THE PERSEVERANCE. In Matthew 15:28 a history of perseverance is recorded. This woman had no hope for her daughter, until she knew that Jesus was in the region. This desperate woman came to Jesus with her need because she believed that He could help her. He called to Him even when everything and everyone seemed to be against him. Despite all those obstacles, she did not surrender. With perseverance, she pushed her way through the dark corridors of difficulty, desperate need and rejection. The result? Jesus praised her for her faith and healed her daughter (v.28). Nothing in the world can replace perseverance. Not talent, not genius, not even education. All these qualities alone are insufficient for success if you lack perseverance. Perseverance has a crushing power.

Thanks for sharing such a wonderful message in my local dialet it is said that "God help those who help themselves" meaning we have to be persistent in what ever we are doing for us to endure the blessings and love of God.
"To grow in any area of life you need to persevere and not faint during the process, that is why we must be prepared to face the trials and achieve progress without fainting; when it is sown it is harvested"
Very true, as we all know no pain no gain. And we've to put God is our hustle.
As chriataims who have accepted the word of God we should always trust in the lord and always believe in him in any condition we find our selves .
Perseverance is the key to succeed , you may find your self in a condition you are not expecting to do so and you will feel as if everything is over but the hope and trust in Christ will always make your way clear
Persistence is a great key to success in life!
The persistent widow in Luke 18-1-8 got the justice she deserved because she didn't stop disturbing the ungodly Judge.
Jesus added and said, how much more your heavenly father???
We serve a compassionate God, a merciful God that can never give you stone when you ask for bread, a loving father who can never give you snake when you ask for meat. Thank you @kenaliz85
Determination is what gives birth to persistency. You're totally correct @kenaliz85.
