Colorful bough in "macro"

That photo is strange. It was made with an old compact camera Sony DSC-W290 in a "macro" mode, but with HDR bracketing. So the picture is very colourful (after Photomatixing it), yet also full of detail, I'm actually impressed depite the inferiority of the camera and its pitiful lens. Even the bokeh is quite bold.
I guess the bough is of some spruce or other coniferous tree/bush, I don't remember. It was made ages ago.
