Greatest Fear
The thoughts play upon us like videos
placed on repeat, digging their way into
the deepest parts of our hearts to
find that of hidden emotions.
With little effort it string’s our
emotions across this chessboard
like a battle being played out upon
these broken grounds.
We stand fighting to keep ourselves from
falling apart, for the fear of being alone
creeps up like fireflies upon the night sky.
Pushing every ounce of fear to the back of
our minds in hopes for a moment of courage
to stand upon this life without fear.
For the fear of being alone is but
an illusion appearing to be real upon the
hearts of many, but its not the fear of
being alone that plays upon these hearts.
It is that of wanting to feel true love;
love that weakens the heart with every
touch, but yet strengthens the soul with every
view upon it’s presences.
For love is everything that we hope
for upon our darkest but yet best days,
giving us the ability to feel that of true desire
among our souls.
We stand fighting for the want of
being loved by another with true
passion upon the sealed lips of beauty.
