We all have brown eyes!!!

in #life7 years ago

Have you ever wondered why the eyes are different colors?

In fact, all eyes are brown! Yes, it is and this is due to melanin (brown pigments) that we have in the iris of our eyes. Melanin is the protective pigment (it protects us from ultraviolet radiation by converting it into heat) that determines the color of our eyes as it does with the different shades of our skin and hair.
What's more, the melanin itself is black or very dark brown.

But.....

How can we get blue eyes?

The colors of the eyes such as blue and green are produced by small amounts of melanin in the eyes. The more melanin there is in the iris, it absorbs more light and reflects less light; By not reflecting it, the eye looks like the natural color of melanin "BROWN". Whereas, the less melanin there is in the iris, it absorbs less light and reflects more light; when reflected, the eye is perceived in another color, such as "BLUE or GREEN"

Not everything is good! :( We are more sensitive to light, therefore, it is very common to see people with clear eyes wearing glasses!

What do the eyes of other colors depend on?

This varies depending on the amount of melanin:
