Cryptocurrencies to help victims. A charity organization based in Antigua asks for help to the victims of Hurricane Irma with cryptocurrencies, as news.bitcoin reports. Antigua was directly on the way of Hurricane Irma which destroyed almost %90 of buildings in the islands. Calvin Ayre from Calvin Ayre Foundation said, they accept donations in cryptocurrencies. He also announced the cryptocommunity that wherever choosing to donate, they just have to send a copy of their receipt and the Calvin Ayre Foundation will add an equal amount to the money they’ve already committed. In recent days, cryptocurrencies are playing life saving roles in such cases.
