It has taken way too long to get this post up. Perhaps because I know just how amazing this is, and am just mildly concerned that the minute I post it, the flood gates will open up! Hahaha it helps to keep a positive outlook they say! ;)

I have met so many people who are keen to learn Yoga, or practice it, but simply get caught up with life and are not able to make it for a weekly class. Well, naturally so, life has a sneaky way of catching up on us all.

Don't get me wrong, I love the weekly classes I have going on as it gives everyone an opportunity to spend that hour practicing, learning new postures, tips, techniques and perfect their existing practice. Then there are those moments during the short meditation practice when the stillness, bliss or joy felt has a unique flavour for the week. Each week bringing with it a new experience. Nothing compares to this! However, I started pondering on how the yoga practice could be incorporated into their daily routine for the remaining 6 days after class.

Then there were folks who travel, or sometimes have peak season at work and start missing classes after a few weeks, or would simply be moving away or shifting into a new work schedule in a month or two. I was wondering how could they benefit from the practice in the comfort of their own home.

That is how Yoga Jedi was born. A practitioner module put together in a simple, easy to follow method to bring about maximum benefit from the practice. It is a mix of the various styles that I have been practicing, and based on self experimentation and experience.

Yoga Jedi is a 18 hour training program that can be taken as a weekend workshop or as 12 week semester module done on a weekly basis.

The idea is to prepare one to become a confident home practitioner and provide the keys to successful assimilation into a daily routine. As humans we always need a little variety, so there will be easy switch ups in postures provided along with a journal to help track one's journey.

MY Ikigai:

What I LOVE: Writing about life, expressing ideas, poetry, haiku, short stories and motivational quips. Practicing yoga and internal reflections, walks in nature, compassionate acts towards nature, animals and humanity.

What I OFFER the world: Innovative solution to Creative Self-Expression. With a passion for Creativity, Innovation, Integrity and Authenticity in thoughts, words, and deeds.

What I am/can be PAID FOR: Writing, teaching yoga, books (in the making), training, facilitating. And hopefully to sit and spin out creative ideas/solutions at whim!

What I'm GOOD at: Hypnotising my Yoga students apparently! Writing from the heart, being a hopeless romantic, passionate utopian, innovator and creator of all things fun and uplifting.

Did you mean how long is the weekly session (12 weeks)? It is 1.5 hrs per class.

My other classes are meant to be 1 hr, but I always stretch it out to 1 15mins or so.... ;)

Hard to stop when you're having fun and relaxing ;)
