Commodore 64 resurrects with the retro console C64 Mini

in #gaming9 years ago (edited)

Retro consoles have become the new black, and now there's another one on the way that emulates Commodore 64.

Commodore 64 was hot in the 80's. It was the game console that was not to be missed at that time.

Later, many emulators and others have been made, but soon it will be published as a retro console in a small version called the C64 Mini.

The C64 Mini is half the size of the original Commodore 64, and it will be installed with 64 of the original games.

There are games like 'Speedball 2': 'Brutal Deluxe', 'Paradroid', 'Impossible Mission', 'Anarchy', 'California Games', 'Chip's Challenge', 'Firelord', 'Mission AD' and 'Monty Mole' .

The Mini Edition is equipped with HDMI output for connection to a TV and 2 pcs. USB ports for joysticks (what are currently called game controllers). A USB keyboard can also be connected.

If the graphics get too sharp in the modern version, the console can be switched to 'scanline emulation' so horizontal lines will appear across the screen to resemble the graphics of the original Commodore 64.

In addition to the 64 accompanying games, the Basic Interpreter is also preserved. So it's possible to program, as on the original C64. Even new games can be programmed.

The manufacturer describes the C64 Mini as 'accurate C64 operation'.

If the C64 Mini seems a bit too small then it's good news for the company behind promises that there is a full size C64 on the way too.

The C64 Mini is launched in 2018 at a price of $ 70

I'm looking forward to its launch! Brings back childhood memories! :D
