Writing gives you the ability to speak from the heart using a minimal amount of words.

When you write something instead of speaking, Your content tends to be more;

• Saturated,
• Condensed
• and informative.

A writer can put a lot of information in just one article. Writing gives you the ability to use a variety of techniques to catch the attention of your audience.

Perceptive writing

Is one technique that involves using the perspective of one or more people in the article. It allows us to give our opinions an insight on the topic. It's like a journal entry or a story about our experiences.

Observant Writing

Is more academic, You express the laws or rules of something, This type of article usually has less emotion. It allows you to teach someone something. While Perceptive writing involves creativity and pouring your heart out.

I like to write in both ways interchangeably.

Eat the dictionary daily!

While in school, this was probably something your English teacher wanted you to do. If you learned five new words a day, For a whole year. You'd know over 1,800 new words! This adds up and will help variation to your writing. Although if you write mostly basic stuff, you may not need to learn as many. But learning even just one new word a day will improve your reading, and make your writing more fun.

There are hundreds of great apps and websites and even games to expand your vocabulary and improve your grammar, It's something you could play with while you are bored.

Practice Makes Perfect

You can even learn new words and improve your Grammar skills just by reading every day. You can read fiction or nonfiction. If you come across a word you do not understand, be sure to look it up. It will help you remember it. You can even write it down for your journal.

Write it

The best way to improve is obviously to write, Write a lot. Write lists, Write dreams, Write stories, Write articles, Do rough drafts then gradually improve each draft until you get a nice finished piece. You don't even have to show anyone if you are feeling self-conscious. Or you can post it on Steemit to see how well it ends up doing.
This will make you faster and faster at writing, So you can get more done in your day overall.

Outlines

Outlines are one of my favorite tactics; You know exactly what you are going to write before you write it. And it works out great!
You can go through each subject on your notepad and spill everything you know into it. It creates a more balanced article. This is one thing that I've always struggled with. jumping around from subject to subject with no solid direction. This eliminates that trouble.
