Nobody Owns MY Time!
If our time is so precious, Why do we insist on throwing it around like it's garbage?
Time is our most valuable asset; It's our everything. And it deserves respect. It deserves our attention.
You Don't Have To Drop Everything For Anybody.
Sometimes it's family members, Coworkers, Even bosses. They failed to get their shit done on time. So they come to you for help. They expect you to drop everything for them.
You don't have to say "yes."
I had this issue the other day; I was having an incredibly productive day, Much more than I usually do. And here comes a family member demanding that I help them immediately do something that they chose to put off.
Sure, They were offering to pay me for my efforts, But to me, it just wasn't worth it. I was willing to help on another day, But I wasn't going to drop my this amazing productive moment I was having. To help with such a simple task.
Sometimes People Will Get Mad
Is it right?
Heck no! You don't owe anyone anything. (Most of the time).
But people will find a way to be offended anyway.
In my case, This family member took it personally. And got upset.
They had this entitled mindset, Just because they offered me money, All the sudden I owe this time to them. Even though I never agreed to this.
In this case, You just have to ignore it and move on. You can't decide how people are going to feel about certain things; You only can determine how you react to them.
Sometimes people may think less of you, And if they fail to understand that your time is valuable to you, That's their problem, not yours. The nice thing about this, Is once people realize they can't walk on you, Or use you "last minute" for their mindless tasks. They'll stop asking.
Which works in your favor both ways.
You Dictate Your Life!
You need to decide what is worth it, And what's not. The reality is, Everyone is going to do what is best for themselves. Not you, So you need to do whats best for you. Don't be afraid to turn down opportunities because you value your time.
Rather than let time slip away by spending it on frivolous activities, how do we choose to use this valuable commodity in a way that helps us achieve our goals and give our lives meaning?
Timeliness is more important than quality. You rarely need to be perfect. So get something done as soon as you can and then make it better if time permits.

Time is the most precious thing in this world.maybe the only thing we can not buy with money is.but we are wasting it on empty things as if our time in this world is unlimited.we have to give up and know the value of our time.

If people don’t respect our time, we don’t have to respect their needs, it’s as simple as that.
I have noticed the same thing with close people, but they are usually the super relaxed type of people, that are never prepared to face issues when they come knock at your door. And at the same time, they believe they have a right to other people’s effort and work.
The best thing is to ignore them and that’s it, and if they keep pushing, just have “the talk”with them.

Time is soo precious!! Wish there were 30 hours to a day!
I used to wish same too @polebird, but I later realized that whatever I'm not able to achieve within 24 hours of the day, I can not achieve even if I was given 40 hours to a day. Time management is the key.

Your posts are on fire tonight!! Since having my daughter I definitely don’t have enough time (or energy) for things I actually don’t really want to do. The older you get, the more you realise how precious time is!
Time is the most significant thing in this world.maybe the primary concern we can not buy with money is.but we are wasting it on debilitate things as if our chance in this world is unlimited.we need to surrender and know the estimation of our possibility.
The thing is people do not even know their worth as a person, or even that time cannot be retrieved once spent.
Time is the one thing everyone has equally. Being rich doesn't mean you can get 25hours a day, and being poor doesn't meant you will lose some hours a day.
People need to realise that if it's not productive then it's not worth their time.
Lately, steemit consumes my time a lot and I'm glad it does, because it is both rewarding financially and fulfilling.
