Art materials For Drawing

Hi!

Here in this post, I will like to show and explain the materials I use for my works.

The first material needed for drawing is a paper. It can be a paper or a sketch pad of any nature. The importance of a sketch pad or a paper is to show ones illustration and the thought of image in one's mind or following a reference picture. There is always a pictorial representation of either objects or human figures to create highlights and shades for. Other materials can be used apart from sketch pads and paper as a surface, others like canvas, wood, metal, clothes, etc. It only depends on the creativity and usage technique and choice of the artist. For my explanation, here is the paper am using below 👇

Just as you can see in the picture above 👆, you will notice that the paper is grided aready which means that it is ready for use in creation of a portrait.

The next material is my pencils,pen,blending stumps and eraser and below is the picture of them

I will give a detailed explanation on how all these materials are used. And also, I will showcase some other materials that are not here.
