Over time I have observed bitshares which is the native currency of the bitshares blockchain has been stabling trading above ~$0.05 especially as the price feed needs to be maintained as the development of Dexbot worker proposal depends on it. Bitshares has its own unique blockchain as it enables user creates smart contracts on its blockchain leveraging other issued assets by users to maintain its price. Bitusd is the native US Dollar Peg used in stabilizing the price for bitshares as against the price of BTC. BITUSD is mainly used for global settlement via the bitshares blockchain, it is also experiencing global settlement as the Short in price of BTC also caused it dump in price trading as low @ $0.035 and is been revived now to about $0.045.
TA on BTS/BTC using bittrex 4H trading Charts shows steady recovery of the price of bts/btc Although trade volumes are minimal we can see using finobachi retracement on 4H period price is like going to trade above 0.00000440 before the end of the weekend.
