Where do you feel SAFE?

I can honestly say that I'm scared. I know, this is what these assholes wanted me to feel, but I am.

With all that happening in the world recently, I am wondering if there are still places where you feel really safe and secure?

I was always an admirer of Europe. I've lived in Switzerland for almost 3 years and worked or travelled in almost every European country, it was always the most peaceful and safe place for me.

And that's one of the reasons why I left Russia - I wanted to feel secure, stable and enjoy the place I live in.

But looking at all the horrible things happening now in France, in Belgium, in Germany I wondering if it's still the safe area to live as it used to be..

Yesterday, having a drink on a rooftop of our building in NY surroundings I was thinking whether the sense of exposure and on security is strong enough to actually spoil our lives.

I like New York. And I like the life in the US. But now I'm thinking whether giving it all up and moving to some random place in the middle of nowhere will be a better thing considering all the terrorist attacks, gun violence and crimes surrounding us here. And pretty much everywhere in the prosperous and developed countries...
