💔 My Dream, Shattered💔

Hello Errybunny.
So as you all know, I’ve been pretty busy with juggling a full life. Something that keeps my depression really at bay was the renovating of my warehouse to open a small business here in South Africa.

Okay so the gist of it was a small place where you could buy timber supplies, my daddy is already a craft store man, or rather a wood worker. So we wanted to get more involved into the selling of supplies opposed to the making and the installment of cabinets or or or.

But, as South Africa has the notion, of shattering most dreams, mine was touched this passing weekend when they broke into my business.

Amounting to a whooping R 100 000 worth of property damage, stolen supplies and power tools.

The sad thing is? This all makes me want to cry and cry and cry.
Not only do I not have the funds to pay the electrical reinstallment of all the cables, electrical breakers and plugs but also there is absolutely no usable electricity within a 100km radius because of the cables being ripped out, and the vandalizing of the plugs.

I think to myself at night; am I a bad person? Am I not fair in this life? Have I not lived an honest life?
What could I have done to prevent this from happening to me?

Why am I an attraction to all negative energies?

Do I not help enough? Do I not give enough?

Do I deserve being vandalized, robbed, kicked while I’m on the floor?

We found someone burning our wires, to sell the copper. But what am I suppose to do with burned cables? It’s not it’s worth in weight to purchase me anything worth using in the warehouse.

Should I start crying or laughing hysterically?

The quotation to fix the electric and wiring vandalism is over R 20 000

To fix the plugs, broken or stolen lights and the three phase power for my industrial machines quotes about R 39 000

AND THATS NOT ALL!

This quotation is just to replace the stolen chain, industrial padlocks, and brokent office double locks costs about R3100.

And still, there is more!
It never ends, does it?

The newly purchased industrial paint is stolen, and a textured 25l paint is spilled on my lawn. How promising, for a new business owner.

The police is useless here in South Africa, and I knew more about the finger prints than the actual forensic woman.
They still haven’t returned to continue the investigation after Saturday.

I’m just so negative, because the insurance claim is a 50/50 change of going through or not going through, because the building is apparently listed as third party for some reason and theft of cables is not specified..

Or maybe I should just drown myself in my sorrow of losing all of my hard work and hours put into this.

Like, HOW DARE someone come in the night and steal that away from me? How dare someone intrude on my life and shatter my dream for a few coins to get high?
