Two horses and their foal

After arrival to Terschelling Island, Holland via a ferry boat. Michael and I were on our way to our hotel and we came across a horse family in the fields nearby the hotel. It was a black horse which was the mama, a small black foal who stayed close by the mother and a brown male horse who was standing further to the other side of the field alone, he was papa horse. We had to stop to appreciate the horses and their foal’s beauty.

When Michael and I walked up closer to observe them. The mother and the foal walked over to the brown papa horse. I found that it was amusing how the foal started playing and jumping in a circle around its parents. It was a joy to see them happy together. They were very well groomed and shiny happy horses and foal. It’s always great to see happy animals.
