A Dog's Blog (Runs)
Good Afternoon,
I haven't blogged for a few days. That is because Mummy human pointed out, that although, food, sleeping, going for walks and the occasional game of fetch, is very gratifying and entertaining to me. You humans like a little bit more variety in subject matter before you call it interesting.
Weekends for me are always very enjoying and the highlight to my week. All my humans are at home and this mean I have belly rubs on tap. All I need to do to claim my belly rub is to position myself where I am guaranteed 100% chance of a human walking by. My favourite position is across doorways. The kitchen is also a very good, just in front of the fridge is a very successful spot.
This morning started off rather lazy morning. Very cross to report the two fat pigeons who like to sit on the fence and act like love doves, seem to be building a nest. However I will not dwell on that, I wish to tell you about the highlight of the day, RUN!!!
As you may recall from earlier blogs, last weekend run ended with me falling in the canal and hurting my paw.
I am please to report this weekend's run was a lot more enjoyable and I have returned with no injuries.
Unlike Mummy human, as his name might suggest, running has the racing gene. This morning consisted of a 6 mile run and then a very refreshing paddle in the lake.
Mummy human is holding her nose as we type this, as I do smell like wet dog. But as I am sure you can appreciate, I am in too good a mood to be upset by her rudeness.
Life is good and now I plan to dry myself on the carpet and then have a nice nap.
Happy to hear that there were no injuries this time in the lake. Give him a belly rub for me too.
