White noise talk & KnausgårdsteemCreated with Sketch.

With all the exercise I am making right now my body is in a permanent crisis, making my day to day routine pretty sleepwalkingish and foggy. I think that i am having an unacknowledged mid-life crisis as all this physical overcompensating looks a bit too much like the behaviour I see in other late forty men. At least I am not contemplating a divorce. My wife is simply too adoring.

But contrary to last year where I almost couldn't move my body around due to a nasty double infection I have to work harder to concentrate on working. Last August my horizon was my apartment and the only way to escape was through work. I was working with the 3d-app Blender all day, and making freak drawing while trying to get back to the comic (if you don't know I am making and publishing a free comic. read it here: http://phillfromgchq.co.uk/).

But now I have developed ways to get back to that simple, imaginary, green room: I listen to people who talks shit.

First it was reality TV on Youtube. Series about some simpleton body-builders that tried to mate with as many girls as possible (you are never to old to expand your horizon), a series about people who was in hopeless dept and got help to create a new ascetic lifestyle while paying back all the money (that was a great one! They always had to sell the car and buy a bike, stop eating fast food and stop buying baby clothing).

Then I discovered through my wife that the library had audio-books where I could hear the Norwegian author Karl-Ove Knausgård's endless autobiographic punk project: My Struggle. This is the perfect white noise! You get to know each and every little thing that has happened in his life! and if you miss something it probably isn't important.

Took me a while to figure out if it was a satire - those are the best reality shows. I might give it a swirl :)
