Steem rises but the dollar is falling
Everytime I have wanted to know how much my Steemit profile was worth I have multiplied the estimated account value with 6.3 - the exchange rate between Dollar an Danish Crowns... or so I believed. Right now one dollar is worth 5.98 Danish Crowns - and as a European I am poorer than I thought.
It seems the dollar has been falling all year, and I have been reminded that it is not just cryptocoins that tumble around like a drunk man on a jetty.
It is very hard to understand where we are financially.
Things are not stable. Like a ship in a storm, their is no point of stability.
Bitcoin will not go to $1,000,000 US because it is such a great coin, but more to the point that the US$ will go down to 1/1,000,000th of a bitcoin.

Yes. The Trump Administration is doing everything they can to weaken the Dollar.
I think it will get worse when the ECB raises the interest rate and there were already some signals that they will do so in the near future.

I read a bit about it afterwards. I think they have to do a lot more than just making their own population poorer.

The money only existed in my head - Right now I just power up and let the Steem be of what value it will. Then in six month time I'll see what to do. Cheers, mate :)

Yes, sometimes it's crazy how much our bills are worth! But we are always to the expectations that in the morning everything changes, and they are worth more :)
