Architecturalphotography - Hallgrimskirkja
For Today's photochallenge by @juliank I am submitting this photo of Hallgrimskirkja, a Lutheran parish church ⛪ in Reykjavik, Iceland.
It is the largest church, and supposedly the tallest building in Iceland.
The architect was Guðjón Samúelsson, and the style is a mix of Gothic Revival and Expressionist.
The tower height is 244' (74.5m).

Beautiful, looks like a Rocket
That is precisely what I thought too. 😀
Very good
Thanks. 🙃
Wao so nice post
Thank you 😊
Beautiful shots Katdvine! I love the old church building. I have not seen one since I left Argentina 4 years ago.
I will be writing a post with more photos of the church, plus the interior.
I' ve been there! Great photo that brought back great memories!
The memories of Iceland will remain forever. Hoping to go back and explore the northern part next year. 😁
I would like to go there again too!!!
