2017 Horoscope PREDICTED ME JOINING STEEMIT?
YEARLY HOROSCOPES
Every time a new year starts, psychics all over the world start massively predicting what will happen in the upcoming year. At least in Estonia we have many famous pshycics who always say what they "see" in the television shows, interviews, newsletters and so on. Some of them even predict by zodiac signs what will happen to YOU specifically (or to everyone who is the same zodiac sign as you).
HOROSCOPES AREN'T TRUE, RIGHT?
I don't usually read horoscopes simply because I don't believe in them. In my opinion they are made up for entertainment or for someone who needs someone else to guide their life. I actually have no idea. They must be just for fun, right? I mean EVERYONE can make up some jibber-jabber prediction that's about all the people in the world. It happens like that for some people and it doesn't for some.
BUT THEY CAN BE!
Although there was a time in my life where I read the daily horoscope just for fun and I have to say it can affect your life if you decide to believe what you read. I completely shut out the horoscopes that said something bad, but took into consider these that predicted me a good day. And I don't know if this is a coincidende or not, bot those days really turned out good. Another good explanation would be that this was just "positive thinking" that affected me. I believe that when we BELIEVE in something good, it will happen. Positive thinking affects our lives a lot and can for sure lead to making big dreams true. But this is something I'll come back to in some another post.
LAST YEAR'S PREDICTION
There is a new horoscope for 2018 almost every day, but I haven't opened any of them. I just don't care. Instead I opened up one estonians famous phsycic's last year's horoscope just for fun. I was like "well, lets see what bullshit you precited and if any of that was correct." As I was reading through the Leo section like blah blah blah, bs, blah blah blah, I got into the end of Leos prediction and it said:
"December is going to bring many surprises and important endeavours what could mean finding a new branch of activity or moving to another country. Those changes give the talented Leo an amazing opportunity which is not always offered."
Humorously I thought: "Well, at least he nailed ONE thing!" and this saying pointing at Steemit. Even though I created an account here already in October I started using it in the end of December. I felt within a second that this will become my new hobby ("branch of activity") where I can use my "talent" of writing. So.. pretty much, right? :D
Do you read horoscopes? What do you think about them?
I generally don't read horoscopes, but I love thinking about the future.
That's bit of a different thing I guess. Setting goals for yourself not letting some horoscope to make them. :D
