Steemit Easter Meetup At Mayaga
Hello Everyone,
It’s Muhammad Kasib here again am gonna talk about our Steem Easter Meetup At Mayaga Hotel today .
The program took place as at 10am GMT,but before that all steemians were ask to converge at a particular place so all of us could get to our designated location(Mayaga).
I Went with a couple of steemians but we were a little late but fortunately when we got there the program was about to commerce so we missed nothing.
The program started with one of the steemians giving an opening prayer,Then our MC for the program @debbyann took to stage and introduced herself and asked all of us to do same so we could get to know each other and probably follow one another so our community could grow.
Next to take the stage was @cherub27 the first speaker of the day who spoke about the history of Steemit.
He then spoken of how other social media platforms sorta exploits from us for good contents and we not earning anything from them,explained what Steem tokens,SBD,Steem Power all meant and finally what he spoke about was plagiarism.
The next speaker was @farhmade spoke more about the newbies in the community,Gave a words of encouragement and tounched on lighter areas concerning steemit
@alhajibabajnr was the third speaker of the day he asked questions,gave giveaway made more of us to participate more to spice the program up.
Emphasized more on our weekly meetups on telegram where could air out our thoughts and concerns we facing on steemits and how we could all grow as a community .
After he was done with his speech we had our lunch and damn the food was so good.We had a nice lunch time,spoke and interacted amongst ourselves before the program resumed.
Last and final speaker to take to stage was @njaywan he spoke about how he started steemit and how he never gave up to becoming a country rep and mainly focused on plagiarism because it’s the highest form of crime on steemit which he adviced us not indulge in.He then spoke on how we should try exploring other communities so to grow and voting one another.He then encouraged us to buy more steem power if we could,gave us time to ask questions and asked us a few as well
The program came to an end with @abu78 giving us a closing prayer.
We took group pictures before we all could leave.Was really a wonderful and successful program and well organized,would love to have more future meetups.
