Eliminated the hazardous SATA adapter gunk from my rig by making my own direct 6pin to 6pin riser power cables with different lengths. Looks a lot cleaner! Costed around 30 bucks to do. Be advised that the pinouts maybe different on your power supply so take your multimeter and make your own pinout diagram.
