Good evening friends of the #steemjapan community, all on this occasion I will post the activities of the workers when cleaning one of the power generators (PG) that has not been used for a long time, this PG numbered 84 we often call it PG 84 and this machine is produced from Japan and arrived here around the 80's, I haven't got complete historical data about the machine.

PG 84 is a large engine for generating electricity that uses a single raw material, namely diesel, according to the information I received, PG 84 is no longer used because rare parts may not be produced anymore and the engine is old. where they are now and the cost of repairs and maintenance that requires a lot of funds.

This power plant has long been granted to the local government and only recently have they cleaned it up and so far there is no accurate information as to why this power plant has been cleared of wild trees, grass that has grown to a height of about one meter, has almost become a forest that was deliberately created, even those of us who have passed through the area have several times found wild animals, namely pythons with a diameter of about 15 centimeters.

The location of the PG 84 machine has always been in a safe area and far from the reach of the surrounding community, fenced off, guarded at all times because PG 84 is still dangerous and cannot be completely shut down, there may still be high voltage electric currents that can kill anyone and anything that touches it.

In this post I attach some photos of the workers who clean the PG 84 which are supervised directly by people who understand safety at work, here is only the cleaning stage of the outside, maybe in the future there will be a next stage.

If this machine could operate again, maybe for all of Lhokseumawe, there would be no need to worry about electricity, which sometimes occurs intermittently, although now on the right and left side there are power plants that are more modern and sophisticated, but that is not something that makes PG 84 not suitable for use. operate again.
