The good thing about rising Steemprices, my vote gets value again!
Everybody know that interaction is key to success but also mostly key to loads of fun. People who have been following me for a while know that I will always respond to comments. And yes, back in the good ol days with Steemprices escalating to Kilimanjaro heights I would also always give a nice vote together with that comment. Because I find that rewarding someone for a meaningful comment often has more impact that actually writing, I loved to do this.
But this slipped away on the descending slope of the Steem price. Not because I didn't want to give away money anymore, but it was become shit to see a reward of $0.00 added. And then rationality takes over and I decided to stop giving rewards to comments.. (which sucks...it does)
But the Steemprice is on the move!...

... And Steemworld is starting to tell me again that somewhere in between the 20-25% vote is close to a cent already
This sounds like not that much, but the mental boundary is starting to crumble again so I can get back to voting on comments again. You see, I also really like Whaleshares which I know that a lot of people on Steemit are not too fond of, but reality is.....in general it is a fun place to be, and I have a 29.000 Whalestake which make me give 20% votes of $3.40. Currently WLS is trading for about 1.4 BTS so my 20% vote there equals about 5 BTS which is about $0.20 USD. That is a different ballgame right?????
I just checked your wallet, you have over 600 Steem liquid... Why don't you power that up, that will boost your up vote value substantially too! Not?
I power up every monday.... such a great incentive to put my week's earnings to good use. 😊

heheheh see that is a good tactic as well! But I like to have some liquid lying around for whenever and oppertunity like for instance the drugwars game comes around and I want to pump some steem into there to get myself going.
I have done this a couple time now when the something new came around and it almost always payed off in the end. So having some liquid around...not a bad thing!!)
Valid point you have there @pele23 ! There is just one thing, I like to be a bit liquid so I can do stuff with my Steem. I impulsively got into the drugwars game and also for instance bought steemmonsters with that a while back.
The thing is, it does help to have some liquid around so you can actually stake it into some other investments when you see a chance popping by. That is my reasoning for having liquid around
But indeed, powering it up would make a huge different when it comes to the size of a vote!
I like the way you think about rewarding people who comment. It’s true, it takes time and effort to comment. I wouldn’t get demotivated by the value of steem though, just showing your appreciation even it has a low monetary value is enough. Greetings...

but the 'token of appreciation' is ofcourse a nice thing to give as well :D
Yup... I remember the days when my 900 SP was worth nearly the same vote $ value as the 7000 active SP in my wallet now. It's insane to think that.... But also exciting on the flip side of knowing that if/when steem prices rise to those heights again I'll be in the $1 + voting range 🙂
There's always a bright side. P.s. I wasn't aware how much wls was trading for ATM. I think I might have to get some fiat back as I've never taken a beam out of either steem or Wshares.

WLS is going a nice price round I find, and it surely is hanging around stable at that price, so that is really a super good thing! Oe dude....yeah getting fiat back is attractive but for some reason i have the feeling the bull is around the corner again you know...and THEN my friend.......thennnnn
