Missing cell phone mystery solved! A monday win!
Good morning! It is cold and dark here this morning....but I think its going to be a good day:)
Luckily, this happened:
So. On Wednesday last week, my husband came home from his shift. He does snow removal and is in charge of getting crews out, so he needs a phone at all times. After getting out of his gear, we realized the phone was missing. We spent HOURS that day searching the house and his shop for it....and the next day, and the next. No phone to be found anywhere.
In the meantime, we had to dig out an old phone and buy temporary phone time for it so he could use it for work. We called the phone company and reported it lost, and asked how much to buy out our contract. Ugh....so much wasted cash, but what can you do?
We made our peace with it and carried on this weekend.
BUT WAIT!!!
This morning!!! Cleaning the snow off the car to run to the grocery store.......HAHAHA the phone is frozen on the roof!! It has been travelling around the city for days! It still works!!! AWE YEA!!! 😆

Hahahaha True! I had a friend who filled the sink and put his phone in it under the waster and started using it to show us his case was amazing lol.

That totally beats my best "left on car roof" story, which is once my friends and I went on a picnic and left the glass pitcher on the roof. Made it to the park intact! 😂
Oh hahahaha!!! A glass pitcher?? That made me lol! I have left a coffee on the roof but a glass pitcher making the trip intact...that is impressive! The phone peeps said if we found it to call to reactivate it from theft mode. Going to call them in a few!

Samsung s7 but I swear it was the otter box that kept it safe. He bought one model a few years ago and he keeps replacing it under the warranty and getting new ones haha! The last one broke after getting run over by a loader but the phone was fine!!!
Ha.. I had a S7 until it fell out of my pocket one day riding the motorcycle home from work.. it didn't handle bouncing down the asphalt very well..

It still worked but both sides were shattered... it wasn't in a case.. I put scotch tape over it for a month... I got S8+ now... love it
