Things are looking up, 2 changes to celebrate here :)

Things are starting to look up for a pleasant change.

First hubby handed in his job where he has worked for 17 years, he was supervisor, foreman with all the qualifications but the firm held a carrot in front of him, do this training and your wage will go up, working this job and getting brilliant feedback for a year and still no pay rise he walked out.

He has now gone back to Self - Employed Bricklayer in a 2 -1 squad and earning nearly 3 times as much as he was, he is loving the freedom, he loves knowing that every brick or block he lays he will get paid for it. The firm he is working for have already praised there work and asked them to go PAYE which they have all refused, they refuse to go back to that again. There is 3 years work there, its going to make a massive difference to our lives especially our pension savings pot where we can stash it away and enjoy our retirement.

Next our lodger Nichola's best friend who lives with us has been an apprentice in a hairdressers for 3 years with a boss from hell, Demi has found she has contact Dermatitis , she shouldn't be anywhere near chemicals but her boss refuses to do that work, she will get Demi to do the chemical work then take over, her poor hands have been infected so much, she has been n the sick for 3 weeks, she has been trying to find a new job. She starts a new job on Monday in a call centre, its a shame she can't carry on with her hairdressing as she has just passed her level 3 but her condition won't allow it. She hands in her notice tomorrow.

Hopefully our luck is going to change after years of bad luck and things going wrong , hopefully we can start to plan for our future. Keeping everything crossed.
