Garden plans done for today, now time to shop for accessories.
I had plans for today to get my Bee corner sorted. We had to be quick this morning as we were expecting 80mph winds this afternoon. Me and hubby got stuck in, well he did i supervised.
He had brought wood from work that had been cut to the size i needed. We had to empty the corner first shovelling what was there into pots until it was ready to be refilled. He placed one piece of wood at the back mainly to save the fence panels from rotting. He then fitted the front panel. I had to rearrange my Bee & Butterfly houses first. Once the front panel was in place we refilled it and added fresh Compost to fill to top.
We then filled the pot ready for the plants. I then painted the front Black. Once the paint has dried i am going to stick Fairy doors, Windows etc to make it look nice. The pot is going to be filled with Lavender for the Bees. Hopefully the Lavender will attract a few Bees & Butterflys that might move into one of my houses.
I will give the paint a couple of days which will give me enough time to get everything i need for the front. I have a Lavender plant that i can rehouse into the new place plus have a few Lavender seeds growing.

Have fun. don't forget to plastic coat the original wooded fence where the dirt is going, or it will rot in a couple of years.
