BUSY DAY TODAY PUTTING TOGETHER MY NEW BED. TIME FOR AN EARLY NIGHT.
Hello friends. Hope your all having a fabulous Saturday. I usually have a lovely lie in on a Saturday but today we had our new bed coming and still had loads to do.
We had to:
Dismantle our old bed
Take bed and mattress outside
Clean the bedroom floor
Tidy up
We have someone coming to pick the rubbish up, its so much easier than taking loads of trips to the skip.
Then we had to wait for the bed arriving. They gave its a time between 10 - 3. Thankfully they arrived around 11.30.
Hubby pulled whilst i pushed the bed base upstairs. He got straight down to work adding the feet and fixing the headboard to the base.
He then fixed the 2 bases together we don't want the bed moving. The dogs don't know what's going on as there usually still in bed.
Bases and headboard sorted, we are now ready for the mattress.
I am rather surprised at hubby, he is usually moaning and in a right mood by now but he's not he's just getting on with it. Very surprising. Even whilst he pulled the really heavy mattress upstairs.
There was so much packaging it filled a black bag. So much plastic.
The mattress is now on the bed giving it more height, its starting to come together. Now all it needs is freshly washed bedding and a furbaby. Mika has found her spot.
Now all i need is a decorator, new curtains, shelfs and a mirror then I'll have my bedroom.
Looking forward to though to bed tonight.

I am surprised, in NZ they deliver, and if requested, assemble the bed, and if requested they will take the old bed away.
Haha there to lazy here, they would leave it outside if they could get away with it.
They take it o the local "Op Shop" [Opertunity Shop] where it is sold/given to needy families.
It does two jobs that way, it clears your house, and it helps the unfortunate.
That's the way it should be :)
