1. Damaskus, Syria

   Sidon is one of the most famous and oldest Phoenician cities inhabited almost 4,000 or 6,000 BC. The city is located in the Mediterranean port and was once conquered by many kingdoms like Greece, Egypt, Ottoman, Assyria and Babylonia. Sidon is Lebanon's largest city and has a population of 200,000.

9. Plovdiv, Bulgaria
   Inhabited since : 4000 SM

10. Jerusalem, Israel/Palestina Inhabited since : 2800 SM
